Portable application is application copy that can be used without installation from any non read-only folder.

Portable application copy can be used (but not limited to) for following purposes:

1. Running application from removable devices such as USB-flash sticks, external HDD-drives and so on.
2. Backup archiving current application version in it's current state with all user-created files.
3. To leave working previous versions of application when newer version is released. For example, user can have different versions of the same application on a single computer.
4. For development purposes. Such as creating additional data providers and so on.

User can create and use unlimited number of copies of NeedForTrade Studio and NeedForTrade Studio Lite as long as he the following requirements:

1. User has rights to use appropriate platform. FREE registration on our site is needed for our free platforms and commercial license is needed for commercial platform.

2. Only one copy of application can be started and used at one time. Simultaneous use of two or more copies of application using the same set of username/password is strictly prohibited.

3. User do not have any rights to give/sell/redistribute application or it's portable copy or any other part of application to a third-party (excluding user-files created using NeedForTrade platform).

4. User do not violate any of terms defined in licence supplied with platform. See NeedForTrade Therms Of Use.

Steps to create portable NeedForTrade Studio copy:

• Start NeedForTrade Studio.
• Select Tools->Advanced->Create Portable Application... from main menu.
• In Select Folder dialog select or create empty folder where you want portable copy to be created in.
• Click OK button.

Portable application copy will be created in the specified folder.

This folder will contain subfolder with platform and file Start NeedForTrade Studio.bat.

To start portable copy run Start NeedForTrade Studio.bat command file.

Please note: created portable application can be moved to any not read-only folder (even to a folder on removable device or on other computer) and application should run from it. In the case when portable application copy must started on other computer, please be sure to install appropriate Microsoft .NET Framework version.
